Keep Sandy Springs Beautiful is one of over 60 affiliates in Georgia of Keep America Beautiful, a national environmental organization which promotes waste reduction, community beautification and conservation.

We are very happy to have received many awards in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003 which were awards such as:
Keep Georgia Beautiful System Award, Environmental Improvement Award, The Great American Cleanup, and Keep American Beautiful.
Current News
The Terrific Trees program is looking for more workshop workers. This program includes community workshops and presentations on the benefits of trees with hands-on tree planting and care demonstrations for realtors, developers and homeowners.
Workshops may be scheduled for homeowner or neighborhood association groups focusing on the advantages of trees in raising property values, reducing energy costs, and providing visual screens. Outreach presentations for garden clubs, civic groups, and other community organizations may also be scheduled.
